Treadlock is a fast top-down tank game you play right in the browser. Roll through a singleplayer campaign, survive the endless mode, or open a room and trade shells with up to three friends — no download, no account, and nothing to pay. It is inspired by the classic arcade era, rebuilt from scratch for modern screens.
How to Play
- Pick a mode. Start the campaign, jump into endless mode, or host a multiplayer room from the menu.
- Drive and aim. Your cannon points where your hull points — turn, line up the shot, and mind the reload.
- Win the arena. Clear every enemy wave in singleplayer, or be first to 10 kills in multiplayer.

Play with Friends via Room Codes
Multiplayer needs no accounts and no friend lists. One player hosts a room and gets a short 5-letter code; everyone else types it in — or taps the invite link — and appears in the lobby. Phones, tablets, and desktops all join the same match, up to 4 players per room. When the host presses start, the arena loads for everyone at once.

Singleplayer campaign
Ten handcrafted arenas across forest, desert, and night themes, each with waves of enemy tanks — wandering grunts, relentless hunters, and long-range snipers. You get three lives; clear every wave to move on.
Endless mode
Procedurally generated arenas with waves that keep scaling up. See how long you last and chase your local high score.
Multiplayer deathmatch
2 to 4 players, first to 10 kills or the best score when the 3-minute timer runs out. If the top score is tied at the buzzer, sudden death floods the arena inward, ring by ring, until one final kill settles it.
Tips & Tactics
- Bank shots off steel. Shells ricochet once off steel walls — a good angle hits tanks hiding behind cover.
- Use trees as cover. Canopies hide your tank from view while shells pass through, but you drive slower under them.
- Watch your reload. Only two shells fly at once. Fire both and you are defenseless until they land — make the second one count.
- Control the bridges. Water blocks tanks, so bridges are choke points. Cover one and enemies must come to you.
- Keep moving. A stationary tank is an easy target. Turn while you fight — your hull and cannon move as one.
