Free Online Tank Game — Campaign, Duels and 100-Player Battles
Treadlock is a fast top-down tank game you play right in the browser. Fight through a campaign against nine enemy tank types, survive endless waves, settle a 1v1 duel, or drop into Last Tank Rolling with up to 100 players on one map. Everything is playable instantly as a guest. It is inspired by the classic arcade era, rebuilt from scratch for modern screens.
How to Play
- Pick a mode. Start the campaign or endless mode, find a duel, join Last Tank Rolling, or open a private room for friends.
- Drive and aim. Your cannon points where your hull points — turn, line up the shot, and mind the reload.
- Outlast everyone. Clear every enemy wave, win three duel rounds, or be the last tank rolling when the safe zone closes.

Game Modes
Campaign
Handcrafted levels across forest, desert, night, arctic and urban arenas. Nine enemy tank types join the fight one by one: wandering grunts, relentless hunters, long-range snipers, fast scouts, armored heavies, spreaders that fire three-shell volleys, mortars that lob rounds over walls, miners that leave mines behind, and phantoms that fight from cover. You get three lives with two hit points each.
Endless mode
Generated arenas with waves that keep getting harder. Chase your best score.
Duel
One opponent, best of five rounds. Each tank has three hit points and no respawns within a round; after 60 seconds the water starts rising. Use quick match to meet another player or share a private duel code with a friend.
Last Tank Rolling
A battle royale mode for up to 100 players on one large generated map. Everyone starts with three hit points and there are no respawns. The safe zone keeps shrinking and wears down anyone caught outside it — the last tank rolling wins. When fewer people are online, bots top the match up to 60 tanks.
Private rooms
2 to 4 friends share a 5-character room code: first to 10 kills or the best score when the 3-minute timer runs out. If the top score is tied at the buzzer, sudden death floods the arena ring by ring until one final kill settles it.
Tips & Tactics
- Bank shots off steel. Shells ricochet once off steel walls — a good angle hits tanks hiding behind cover.
- Use cover. Trees and bushes hide your tank; trees slow you down, bushes do not.
- Mind the ground. Ice keeps you sliding, mud slows you down and roads speed you up.
- Watch the barrels. A shot barrel explodes and sets off the barrels next to it — lure enemies close, then fire.
- Move with the zone. In Last Tank Rolling, head for the next safe circle early instead of racing the edge at the last second.

Do I need an account?
No. Every mode is open to guests, with nothing to sign up for.
How many players can play together?
Duels are one against one and private rooms hold 2 to 4 players. Last Tank Rolling puts up to 100 players on one map; when fewer people are online, bots top the match up to 60 tanks.
Is my data safe?
Guests leave nothing stored on our servers beyond what a live match and rate limiting need. Nothing is sold or used for ads. The privacy policy has the details.
Does Treadlock work on mobile?
Yes. On phones and tablets you get touch controls: a virtual stick on the left to drive and a fire button on the right. Phones, tablets and desktops play in the same matches.
